Career and Technical Education Video Production

Program Spotlight Videos That Bring Career Pathways to Life

Program spotlight videos that help prospective students see what they can learn—and where it can lead.

Choosing an educational program starts with understanding the possibilities. Shields Films helps colleges and workforce organizations introduce career pathways through clear, engaging videos featuring the people, skills, and workplaces behind them.

We combine personal stories with footage of hands-on learning and real work environments to help viewers understand what a program involves, who it serves, and the opportunities it can open.

Real Business. Real People. Real Possibilities.

For Workforce Southwest Washington, Shields Films took a small production crew across the Pacific Northwest to bring three distinct career stories to the screen. Filming at multiple locations, we captured personal interviews and cinematic workplace footage that put viewers alongside the people doing the work.

Produced in 2018, the series brings career pathways into focus through human stories, hands-on skills, and a vivid sense of place. Each film stands on its own while contributing to a cohesive series; showcasing our ability to turn a complex, multi-location production into compelling career exploration content.

Help Students Picture Their Future

Bring your programs to life through the people, places, and hands-on experiences that make them worth pursuing. We create program spotlight videos that help prospective students see the skills they’ll develop, the environments where they’ll learn, and the career pathways ahead.

Through personal interviews with students, graduates, faculty, and employers—paired with cinematic footage of classrooms, labs, and real workplaces—we connect education to opportunity and give students a compelling reason to take the next step.

A Consistent Approach Across Multiple Programs

Producing a series requires a format that works across departments while giving each program its own identity.

Shields Films can establish a shared visual approach, coordinate filming with your staff, and organize production around campus locations and participant availability. Consistent graphics, pacing, and sound help the videos work together as a recognizable series for your website and recruitment channels.

From Your Scripts to Finished Videos

Whether your team supplies approved scripts or needs help shaping the story, we can support the production process with:

  • Interview preparation and on-camera direction

  • On-location filming and professional audio recording

  • Footage of facilities, equipment, and hands-on learning

  • Editing, color correction, graphics, and audio finishing

  • English and Spanish voiceover production with qualified language specialists

  • Reviewed captions and caption files for accessible distribution

  • Widescreen videos and vertical edits for mobile and social platforms

  • Organized footage and project assets for future use

We establish the production schedule, review process, and delivery requirements at the outset so your team knows what to expect at each stage.
